Member2 seangkatan aku masing2 dah pasang niat nak extent n TL (tidak lengkap) kan jerr dissertation. N aku ms 2 msh lg berbelah bhg smda nak TL ataupon x. mybe msing2 ader alasan yg tersendiri mengapa dorg deside utk TLkan dissertation. Tp aku??? Byk juge pihak yg mendorong aku utk TL sm2.. Tp xkurg juge yg mendorong aku untk teruskan perjuangan ney.. mmg phit.. ms pon sgt2 suntuk.. asal tension jerr…aku ‘termenangis’ (huk3).. mn xnyerr… class, assignment, project, test, final exam lg.. mau nyerr xtension.. n ms 2 kwn2 terdekat, housemate, family n ‘kwn aku’ paling byk bg dorongan supaye aku kuat. Mujurlah ms sem 2 aku dah mula start wat lab..penat, skit belakang ney smpai 1 ms aku xley nak bgun sbb terlalu skit.. dduk lm2 pon xley.. tp aku ggahkan juge.wlaupon ms 2 aku msih lg blum rsgter untuk dissertation sbb coarse ney sem 3 br ley rgter.. tp aku dah strt cr supervisor n syukur Alhamdulillah…dpt Assoc. Cuti sem aku xblk.. siapkan casting ( buat sample concrete) n dah strt wat testing. Bila dah strt sem 3, aku dah mule settle sume… n prepare untuk report jerr. Alhamdulillah aku wat cket2. Walaupon bz ngan class n bla bla, aku luangkan gak ms untuk dissertation. N ble 1 bln before anta, ms 2 ramai yg deside untuk TL. n…. aku?? Atas dorongan kwn2 n fmly, aku truskan juge.. mmg aku xnafikan, aku sgt xcukup ms. Final exam dah dkt. Ade juge yg meragui kemampuan aku.. tp Mmpukah aku??
Akhirnya…aku Berjaya juge siapkan.. n aku sgt2 lerr berbangga dgn diri aku. bangga atas hasil usaha pnt lelah aku slama ney. ms perjlnan nak g submit report, aku “termenangis” lg lam kete.. tp mn derr org pon..hehe so xder la malu sgt. N bl time Viva, syukur sume clear. N aku dpt mrkh agak tinggi n cume minor correction.. ader antara kwn2 aku yg kurg bernsb baik.. myb sbb panel/ xder luck ms 2. Ader yg major correction, n ader yg kene reviva.. mgkin rezki aku ms 2.. n…. bl result kuar, akulah antara org yg paling gembira xterkata. Alhamdulillah… aku dpt pe yg aku nk selama ney. pht maung aku dah terbalas. TIME KASIH ALLAH…. yey!!! aku grad!!

ABSTRACT
The production of cement contributed to the environmental problems with respect to its availability, cost and environmental impact such CO2 emission, pollution due to the dust, gases and noise during blasting process. Nowadays, there are many studies that have been reported on the utilization of quarry dust (QD) as a partial replacement of sand. However, the utilization of QD in the form of quarry dust fine powder (QDFP) as a partial cement replacement was limited and new among researchers. Thus, this study focused on the performance of OPC and Superplasticized QDFP concrete of grade 30 with 0.6 w/c in term of compressive strength and durability. The mix design for concrete conducted one series of OPC concrete (as control mix) and four series of QDFP concrete with Superplasticizer at different level percentages of 3%, 5%, 10% and 15%. The tests were conducted at 7, 28 and 60 days of curing for both OPC and QDFP concrete. From the results of the compressive strength, it was found that 10% is the optimum replacement of cement with QDFP that achieved targeted strength of 30 N/mm2 at 7, 28 and 60 days of curing while in term of durability, 3% is the optimum replacement of cement with QDFP with respect to the water permeability when the coefficient of permeability was around 10-11 m/s and 10-12 m/s and considered as very low in permeability. The correlation between compressive strength and durability properties were also established using regression analysis giving good correlation.
